The cost of chartering a 154-seater aircraft for Prime Min­ister Kamla Persad Bissessar’s visit to Brazil is revealed: TT$500,000 (US$85,000).  Amongst the Prime Minis­ter’s delegation of 40, is a suspended policeman fac­ing charges of extortion and corruption in a case where three of the witnesses have disap­peared, with two con­firmed dead.
