Revelations that a dummy company run by employees of Gopaul and Company (owned by Ralph and Maureen Gopaul, friends of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar) has been awarded a $600 Million contract to supply aggregate for the $7.2 Billion Point Fortin Highway project.

The employees, Bhirn Deosaran, Rajesh Teemal and Mukesh Jagroop, are listed as Directors of Raldon Construction, which  has been hired by another company, Sanjco Construction, to provide the aggregate to Constructora OAS, the Brazilian company building the highway.
